Founder, Ellen Thompson, taps her keen eye for design, genetic acumen for organization, and passion for family history, to help clients organize their photos and tell their stories.
Ellen has come to recognize the joy found in life’s special moments and wants to help others readily access these memories.
Like many, Ellen's career has been a journey. After graduating with a degree in commerce from Queen’s University, she embarked on a career in business that would feed her creative side - in consumer packaged goods marketing. This led to a 20-year career in advertising and marketing, and then an eight-year world-class "gap year", following her husband around the globe. Along the way they snapped, printed, digitized and shared a lot of photos.
A few years ago, Ellen's parents moved out of the family home. While helping her parents organize a lifetime of photos and slides spanning 80 years, covering the globe, and hidden in shoeboxes, envelopes, and carousels, she realized there is a need for a creative photo organizing service. Her parents had an impressive amount of material to create some amazing stories, just waiting to be shared.
This triggered a passion to help preserve and access these special family memories.
